Cancelling during the trial costs nothing. If you would rather not enter card details at all, the free plan asks for none and has no time limit.

No — it is a permanent plan with no countdown and no card on file. Three pages a day, 250 MB of storage, the drawing canvas, voice notes, full search and PDF export, for as long as you want. The 7-day trial is a separate thing that only applies if you want to test Premium.

Nothing is deleted. You keep full read, search and export access to everything you have written, including entries created while you were on Premium. What changes is what you can do next: pages per day return to three and storage to 250 MB.

Yearly is $49.99 against $71.88 for twelve monthly payments, so roughly 30% less. If you are unsure, start monthly: you can move to yearly whenever you like and the switch is prorated automatically, so you never pay twice for an overlapping period.

Settings opens a billing portal run by Stripe, where you can change payment details, view past invoices and download receipts. Your card number is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store it.

No. Premium adds capacity and options, not a proprietary format. Everything you write exports as Markdown or PDF on either plan, and Markdown opens in any text editor, so nothing you create becomes unreadable if you stop paying.
